Committed to Our Community

Meet Sarah

Our family has lived in Cottage Grove for five years, and we are proud to be part of this community. The small-town feel paired with good schools, beautiful parks, and convenient amenities makes Cottage Grove a special place to call home.

I am running to be a Trustee on the Cottage Grove Village Board to further improve our community and support our neighbors. My leadership roles in the healthcare and social work fields have prepared me to be an effective and open-minded Village Trustee, as I am trained to work with others to improve the well-being of individuals as well as the community.

If elected Cottage Grove Village Trustee, I would work to help provide more spaces for families and neighbors to socialize together while keeping Cottage Grove a safe and comfortable place for all residents.

Vision & Priorities

I care deeply about our community and I am committed to listening to neighbors, representing their voices, and answering their questions. I want to ensure that all families in Cottage Grove have access to the resources, services, and opportunities to not only meet their basic human needs, but to also live their best life in Cottage Grove.

Priorities for Village of Cottage Grove

  • Develop a long-term plan for sustainable growth to support local businesses and residents

  • Enhance community spaces that reflect our neighbor’s values and priorities

  • Support emergency personnel to provide continued safety and comfort of our neighborhoods
